WebGauge has been designed as a two-part solution to keep the up-front costs low. Costs equate to less than 14 cents a day, (excluding initial purchase of the router).

Part 1: The Router

To use WebGauge, you must purchase a WebGauge Router, which is a full-feature 802.11n wireless router. Routers cost $199, and come with one month's subscription. These can be purchased from our online store.

The WebGauge Router is built on top of commodity hardware in order to keep prices low, and provide maximum compatibility with other devices on your network.

Note: Router has two antennas, not one as shown in the photo above.

• 4x RJ45 LAN ports
• Built in 802.11b/g/n wireless networking (draft-N support)
• Support for secure WPA2 encryption (also: WPA, WEP, and unsecured options)
• Supports UPnP, DHCP, NTP Client, DDNS, Port Forwarding, VPN Pass-Through, WDS Utilities
• Secure SPI (Stateful Package Inspection) Firewall
• Comes with 1x NZ power adaptor and 1x network cable

Routers can be purchased from one of our authorised resellers, or at our Online Store. RRP $199 + Subscription Fees

Note: You will own the router outright, even if you cancel your subscription. That means the router will continue to work even if you decide that WebGauge is not right for you, but will not be able to capture data usage information without a valid subscription.

Part 2: The Subscription

A subscription to WebGauge is required for you to access the "My Flat" Usage Meter section of the website, and view information about your data usage.

Subscription Fees are a low $5/month, and provide you with access to all of the online usage meter tools - including the detailed usage meter, CSV download, "Split The Bill" Calculator, and any new features we will bring out. Discounts are available for payments of 6-months or more in advance.
